This painting was done from a photo taken last summer near Kingston Peak in Colorado. I love this trail. It is so spectacular all the way, but one of my favorite spots is right here amidst the ancient trees. My husband and I do a lot of jeeping which takes us to beautiful places we would not otherwise see. We are so blessed here in Colorado to have some of the oldest trees, most beautiful mountains and gorgeous rivers. All very special and great fun to paint.
