I Have always loved fall. It is my favorite time of year. I feel more alive for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I love all the seasons. I could not live in a place that didn't have all seasons. This is a big part of why I live in Boulder CO. Sadly fall is coming to an end, but not before I got some painting in. I'm working on a small series of semi abstract (hmmm?) fall colors paintings. I've been really enjoying working with acrylics for a change. Of course, only in between my pastel work. Acrylics are so different that it is a real challenge for me that gives me a new outlook on my pastels. Here are some examples of the new acrylic fall colors work I'm doing. As with most of my acrylic work and unlike my pastels, these are no specific location, just my impressions of fall.
