Painting with Soft Pastels

Service Description

Four class sessions building on each other. Each class will begin with a demo of a specific technique or subject. We will be discussing values, color, design, mark making and more. Designed for those who have taken my intro class or have some knowledge of materials and basic techniques. We will be further exploring all the topics in the intro class, discussing painting from photos, and simplifying a subject. The goal will be to complete at least 2 full paintings (whatever size you wish) during the 4 class sessions. You will be creating a painting of your chosen subject (have a chosen photo printed or on a separate device). The class atmosphere will be one of comfortable supportive learning and experimentation. Bring to class: Reference photo of choice, selection of soft pastels and pastel paper of your choice Call me or DM me with any questions concerning materials

Cancellation Policy

Classes can be cancelled up to 1 day ahead of initial start with full refund. After that time, refunds cancellations and refunds must be handled directly with teacher.
